I wrote a review on Beauty Bulletin on Physicians Formula eye liner trio for blue eyes.

The eyeliners come in a pack of three different colours (Blue, Brown and Illuminating Blue). Each colour is designed to make the most of your eye colour and enhance their beauty.

The eyeliners are packaged in automatic pencils with a sharpener hidden in the base of each that's perfect for a quick sharpen to obtain a precise line. The box also shows you how to apply the liners to obtain 3 different looks - Natural, Playful or Dramatic.

I prefer purchasing automatic pencil eyeliners and out of all the brands I have tried, this has to be my favourite. Because of the special formula it is gentle on my eyes as it is specifically designed for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. It is approved my dermatologists and is fragrance free.

At about R160-00 it really worthwhile.

Stem Cell Plant Protein Skin Cellulose Mask Sheet

I recently purchased stem cell plant protein skin cellulose mask sheet from skin logic from Dis-Chem, and it claims to:

·         regenerates and revitalises deep within the skin's  epidermis;

·         Protect and repair aging skin cells;

·         Assists in replacing damaged cells;

·         Reducing the loss of collagen;

·         Minimising fine lines and wrinkles.

I decided to give it a try, seeing that it is a hypo-allergenic dermatological skin care range. I followed the directions step by step. Very important to clean and tone your skin first, as this will allow the serum to be more effective. The mask is soft and the clear creamy serum has a subtle smell and immediately has a cooling effect on your skin. There is more than enough serum to apply to your neck area and on your hands.

 

Dim the lights and lie back with some soft relaxing music in the background. I would suggest leaving the mask on for the maximum time of 20 minutes. It is really worth it, so do not rush your treatment. You do not have to wash the serum off, but just pat the excess off and apply moisturiser to your skin.

 

It is preferable to repeat the treatment twice a week for the first month and then as required. I can recommend this product. My skin was soft and healthier after two treatments.Really a great product from Skin Logic.

Clicks Skin Essentials 3 in 1 makeup removal

I can recommend the Clicks Skin Essential 3-in-1 Facial Cleansing wipes.  I did a video review on this great product on BeautyBulletin and would like to share it with my readers.

It does exactly what it claims to do: "gently cleanse, tone and remove make-up, even waterproof mascara."  What I like about this product is that it is suitable for all skin types.  I have tried quite a few facial cleansing wipes and this is the only one yet that I have come across that is really soft and gentle on your skin!

The Body Shop Manicure Set

The Body Shop Manicure Set is really a great gift idea.  I did a video on this and posted it on BeautyBulletin.  I would like to share this with my readers.  Go out and buy it for a friend or spoil yourself.

At R150 it is really worth the money and it comes in a beautiful bronze tin, which you can use afterwards for storage like candy or your pure cotton make-up pads for removing make up.

Johnson's 3 in 1 Facial Cleansing wipes

I did a review on this product on BeautyBulletin and must share it with my readers as well. 

This is perfect for people who have a hectic lifestyle. It is very effective at removing makeup and well as dirt. The wipes are gentle and not too rough on the skin.

The wipe is big enough to remove oil, dirt and makeup from your entire face and neck area. The resealable lable seals well so that the wipes remain moist. The layer left behind on your skin is perfect as a moisturiser.   I like to wash my face off after using the wipe because I have a very sensitive skin and this does tend to make my skin tingle.

I love Elizabeth Arden products and recently read a great review on beautybulletin by SMTCHA022.

I agree that the 8 hour cream protectant is really great and event just after using it once you can feel a difference.

It is light and you are not left with an oily or greasy layer on your skin.  The cream absorbs easily and totally agrees with the subtle scent. 

I battle with a sensitive skin and do find it to be soothing especially if you battle with dry skin.  You only use a little bit to cover a big area, therefore agrees that a little goes a long way.

I recently bought this great product from Elizabeth Arden range and can recommend it. The fact that it is fragrance, preservative and emulsifier free was a selling point for me.

My daughter surprised me a couple of months ago with a subscription to Glossybox. I can really recommend this great little box, filled with wonderful products inside. Haute Cabrière Restaurant

We recently visited the Haute Cabrière Restaurant in Franschhoek and can really recommend it for that special event or family outing.

I just loved the interior, crisp white linens and lovely chandeliers.  The artwork is colourful and adds to the charm of the restaurant.  The terrace offers a perfect place to sit down with friends whilst enjoying a glass of wine and the beautiful scenery.
