Glossybox

My daughter surprised me a couple of months ago with a subscription to Glossybox. I can really recommend this great little box, filled with wonderful products inside. Some might normally not be able to afford the products and Glossybox provide us with an opportunity to try it out and who knows, a friend might surprise you with that great product you just happen to mention or shared with during a casual conversation.

My one Glossy box had 6 travel size Sisley products inside: Floral toning lotion, cleansing milk, eye and lip contour balm, restorative facial cream, facial mask with linden blossom sensitive skin and soft rose anti-aging lift foundation!

I tried out the Sisley products and just love them! Guess who is already including it on my list of preferred products! I found the combination really complement each other and used in combination is the way to go! Really great products as they use natural plant extracts and botanical aromatic essential oils.

A suggestion ladies, do not throw away your box, great for gifts and if you are into making cards, use the content inside. My daughter never throws the ribbon, paper and crinkled paper away as it makes stunning cards. Haute Cabrière Restaurant

We recently visited the Haute Cabrière Restaurant in Franschhoek and can really recommend it for that special event or family outing.

I just loved the interior, crisp white linens and lovely chandeliers.  The artwork is colourful and adds to the charm of the restaurant.  The terrace offers a perfect place to sit down with friends whilst enjoying a glass of wine and the beautiful scenery.

Cederberg Mountains

We took a trip to the Cederberg mountains and I must highly recommend it.  It is only two hours drive from Cape Town and be prepared to stop quite regularly, as the scenery is really breathtaking.

The rock formations add to the beauty of the Cederberg and you will find yourself keen to start exploring the big boulders.  However, also a word of caution, as it can be dangerous without the correct equipment.

We stopped over at Mount Ceder and had a light lunch.  They also have self catering facilities.  We unfortunately had to turn back and are already planning a trip deeper into the Cederberg mountains to explore Cederberg Wildernis, Ramskop Nature Reserve, Louis Leipoldts grave, Englishmens grave etc.
